Gents Club Championship 2024

The qualifying competitions for the Gents Club Championships are as follows:

Scroggie Cup / Geddes Trophy - Sat 4th May (entry opens via IG on 8th April).

Rose Bowl & Skol Cup - Sat 18th May (entry opens via IG on 22nd April)

Town Council medal / Silver salver – Sun 2nd June (entry opens via IG on 6th May).

The aggregate of the best two scratch scores from the above competitions will determine the qualifiers for the match play stages to be held during Championship week (16th to 23rd June).

The times for the match play rounds are as follows with the finals being played on Sunday 16th June.

Gents A:  Mon 17th June (from 4pm), Wed 19th June (from 4.45pm) & Fri 21st June (from 5.30pm)

Gents B:  Mon 17th June (from 5pm), Wed 19th June (from 5.20pm) & Fri 21st June (from 5.55pm)

Gents C:  Sun 16th June (from 4pm); Tue 18th June (from 4pm), Thurs 20th June (from 5pm).

NB: Members handicaps at the time of the 1st qualifying competition will be used to determine which section they qualify to play in during the match play rounds.

All players interested in participating in the Championships should check their availability for the above dates and confirm to the starters on the day of their first qualifier whether they wish to play in the match play and that they are available for all of the dates.
