Online Competition Entry

You can enter Glen Golf Club competitions from the comfort of your own home if you have access to a computer with internet availability.

If you do not have access to a computer with internet availability you may continue to enter Glen Golf Club Competitions by visiting the Club and making your entry on the members’ computer in the upstairs lounge area of the clubhouse.

To enter competitions from home:

  1. Log in to the Members Secure Area by selecting ‘Members Secure Area’ from the drop down menu
  2. Enter your ‘Identifier’ (the number on your bar card) and your PIN  (First 4 digits of your DOB or the PIN you set if different)  If that doesn’t let you in, please call the Office/Starter for your PIN.
  3. Click on the ‘Competitions’ tab and you will see the available competitions. You will be entitled to enter those marked ‘Enter’
  4. Choose the time slot you wish to enter and click on the relevant space available to you.
  5. If the slots are all taken and you wish to be on the reserve list, put your name on the reserve list which will be posted on the notice board as in the past.
  6. Junior members wishing to enter adult competitions must also place their name on the reserve list on the notice board.
  7. If you wish to withdraw from the competition prior to the closing date (Monday noon prior to the competition) may do so by following steps 1-4 above and clicking on the word ‘withdraw’

To enter the competitions on the clubhouse computer: 

     NOTE: THIS IS A TOUCH SCREEN COMPUTER
     click or double-click by simply tapping the screen once or twice as appropriate

  1. Click on ‘EVENT ENTRY’.
  2. Enter your Identifier number as you would normally do when entering your score.
  3. Go to Competitions section and you will see the available competitions which you will be entitled to enter at that time.
  4. Choose the time slot you wish to enter and click on the relevant space available to you.
  5. If the slots are all taken and you wish to be on the reserve list, put your name on the reserve list which will be posted on the notice board as in the past.
  6. Junior members must also place their name on the reserve list on the notice board.
  7. If you wish to withdraw from the competition prior to the closing date you may do so by following steps 1-3 above and clicking on the word ‘withdraw’

Once the closing date has been reached it will not be possible to enter the competition online.

The draw will be made automatically and will be posted in the usual manner online and a copy of the draw will be posted on the notice board downstairs in the clubhouse.

This system makes the draw automatically and cannot facilitate members who wish to have the earliest times or latest times in any section, apart from very exceptional circumstances.
