...few holes in Scotland can match the 13th, the Sea Hole." Ronan Rafferty
If there was a golf course in Scotland that deserved worldwide praise for its entire set-up - and not just the golf course - then this is it ... the Glen is one golf course that every Scottish golfer should make a point of playing at some time in the near future." Bunkered magazine
... the East Links at North Berwick, home of the Glen Golf Club ... is a delightful links course which enjoys panoramic views and offers a round of spectacular golf ... it is one of the most under-rated and best-value courses in Scottish Golf." Golf Monthly

I had the pleasure of playing 36 holes at your course on Wednesday September 30th. From our welcome in the pro shop the day was perfect the weather was kind, the facilities magnificent, your members were helpful and welcoming, the greenkeepers had a smile and a friendly word, and the bar and catering staff supplied wonderful food and great Belhaven Best with style and efficiency second to none. This was the best days golf I have ever experienced. Once again many thanks for your kind hospitality. Steve Laister Grimsby Lincolnshire

... my sincere thanks for the day's golf with our four-ball on the 12th November. This was our first visit to your excellent course and although we had read many positive reviews prior to the day, the actual experience proved to be much better. The condition of the course in general was a credit to your team of green keepers. Coupled by the challenging layout and general magnificent scenery we had a highly enjoyable days golf and even managed to get sunshine on the day! I would also like to thank the catering group for their friendly service and equally excellent food which was served after the round in the splendid clubhouse. We look forward to our next visit."  Mr Paul O'Neill  (Newburgh-On-Ythan Golf Course

Just to compliment you on the course for our small visit yesterday. Excellent value all round, even allowing for the wind and rain. Even rainbows as per the attached photo looking back down the 18th. Thanks again. Geoff Hulley, Capt 2005 Belford Golf Club

I played your course on a sunny, breezy day this October. From the first hole ... through to the magnificent view from the plateau of the eighteenth tee, we were captivated by The Glen. Stunning views, well kept fairways and true but challenging greens were a feature of every hole. Your course is by a distance the best I have ever played, and I can already say with certainty that it will be many more years before I play anything as beautiful and uplifting as The Glen. Apart from the course itself, the friendliness of the staff in reception and of the club members who, unsolicited, approached us to offer both a welcome as well as some tips on how to play the course, underlined the unique sense of camaraderie associated with golf in Scotland. And that's not all. The views from your clubhouse over the Firth of Forth surely rival those of any clubhouse anywhere in the world. Thank you for a great golfing and social experience." John McManus writes

Don't miss this course! You will not find a more scenic course in East Lothian. It is a well-conditioned, testing layout ... a true hidden gem. And the staff could not have treated my group of 8 any better than they did. The entire experience was fantastic!" Mark Ernest,  United States of America

Fantastic course!! Played here September 2005. What an incredible course!! We played on a calm day but still this course proved very challenging - (the european pairs championships semi final were playing this day also). The fact that this competition was held here shows that this course does command some respect. The clubhouse was under renovation but the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The course itself was in a superb condition and the greens were very true. The scenery from every hole provided you with a real view of links golf. I have played Turnberry, St. Andrews and Taymouth Castle in Scotland but would definately return to this course considering the cost. I seriously recommend others to play here - a true gem!"

A Beautiful Course. Our group of 10 golfers ranging from 8 to 28 handicappers all found this to be one of the most beautiful courses anyone had played. The course itself was in fantastic condition with outstanding greens. Every hole offered a different challenge and if you had a bad one then you could admire the views over the Firth of Forth. A trip back is already being organised, can't wait." Ian Hogg, England.

A real gem - not to be missed. I have played this course on our annual golf trip to the area for the last 5 years and for me it is always the highlight of our trip. I am looking forward to April 07 to see and sample the new clubhouse. A real test for any golfer in ay weather conditions" Glenn Binns, United Kingdom.

I am sorry that it has taken me a little while to say a big thank you for letting me and daddy play on your golf course. We had a great time and the best part of the day was when I parred your most difficult hole - the 13th. I was so excited and so was daddy - I think I played a bit better than him! Thank you very much again." Mitch (aged 11)

I would like to say what a lovely time we had on our brief visit to The Glen the week before last. We found the course a bit daunting to start with but soon fell under its spell. All 5 of us felt that, playing well or badly, it was a lovely place to play. I found your members and staff very friendly, both in the clubhouse and on the course, and would like to thank them for making our visit so enjoyable. I hope to return before too long."  Bruce Barrow

On behalf of all the members of Dutch Golf Team (the 'Lowlanders') ... we would like to thank you and your staff of the Glen Golf Club, as well as the people of catering, for the lovely days on your golf course last week. I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed playing your course ... it was a wonderful experience. The course was great and the views were spectacular.
