Keeps you Healthy

According to a study just published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, “playing golf regularly is associated with longer life expectancy and a lower risk of heart disease and strokes”. It is reckoned to be a sociable recreation which engages the body and the mind in an outdoor setting. With a countrywide decline in the numbers playing golf, anything which can be done to redress this must be viewed as a positive step. Anything that Glen members can do to encourage more folk to take up the sport and become involved at the club would be appreciated.
