Jim sear (Captain)

Jim has been a member of the Glen for many years and I'm sure almost everyone has got to know Jim during their time at the club. Jim has served the club in many roles through the years and his particular passion has been his commitment to the Greens Committee.

John Lunn (Vice captain)

John has served on the management committee since 2013, as Junior Convener and as the club's Child Protection Officer.  He is also the Vice Captain of the club.

Graham Noble (finance convener)

As a CA, Graham is able to provide good guidance on all matters finance and to hold all sections of the club to account. The role includes overseeing the preparation of our quarterly and annual accounts; VAT returns and corporate tax returns; monitoring Club income and expenditure; liaising with our bankers.

MARION CURRIE (MATCH SECRETARY)

As a member for 18 years and a previous Ladies Captain, Marion is fully conversant with activities at the Glen. As Match Secretary, she is now responsible for - the maintenance of club members handicaps in accordance with the CONGU Unified Handicapping System; working with the Match Committee to prepare and manage the competition calendar under CONGU guidelines; and finally, ensuring all handicap records are up to date and information is correctly recorded and qualifying scores are updated electronically to the national CDH system.

Stevie Albiston  -  Clubhouse/Fabric

Stevie's brief is to keep a watchful eye on the fabric of the clubhouse ensuring that a maintenance schedule is prepared, appropriate actions are implemented and once complete, are inspected.  He is also part of the catering/social group.

Janice McLeod  -  Catering/Social + Clubhouse/Fabric

Since joining the Glen, Janice has been an active member on the General Committee, suggesting and implementing enhancements as part of the team involved in customer experience being delivered for catering and social activities for both members at and visitors to the Glen.

Nick Hunter   -   Marketing

With a background in marketing, Nick is ideally placed to manage The Glen's  marketing strategy and activity.  His role is undertake marketing actions which will maintain and develop revenue from visitors, members and others, as well as ensuring everyone receives customer satisfaction.

Sam Frost  -  Ladies Captain + Catering/Social

Sam has been an active member and competitor of the Glen for five years.  She is the current Ladies Captain.  During her captaincy Sam wants to grow the Ladies Section and ensure it retains it's friendly, vibrant atmosphere.  Sam joined the Management Committee this year and is part of the Social and Catering sub-group.

Douglas Paul  -  Events/Projects

With experience of managing big teams of people and leading projects, Dougie is really well suited to leading on specific key projects that the club has chosen to become involved in e.g. US Kids participation or mandatory legislation e.g. GDPR (the data protection changes of 2018).

John Campbell   -   Web

Working in IT, John has an acute understanding of the requirements for and the demands of the Glen's website.  His role is to ensure that website features consistently accurate and topical information both for browsing visitors and members alike.
