Long Service Award

The afternoon of Thursday 5th October in the Belhaven Lounge, out of the rain was a pleasant place to be. The occasion was to mark 32 years of employment with our club by Stuart Hancock. Stuart has been a stalwart, working away maintaining, servicing, and repairing our course machinery. He is a well-respected member of our green keeping team and can turn his hand to most tasks. Stuart was accompanied by his father Ian who first joined the Glen in 1962! The occasion also gave the Management Committee the opportunity to thank the team led by Des Kerr for their hard work presenting our course in such good condition.

Another highlight was being able to wish Karen Willis our accounts manager a happy birthday.

Our vice-captain David Dixon was on hand to capture the occasion with photographs of the company.
